How you can help us!

We are always looking for people to "spread the word" !!!   If you are in a position to put up posters on a regular basis, or even just the odd one of two, please feel free to download the posters from this Website (in Word) and print them off.  Click here to take you to the Diary Page - click on the date and open up a Poster (in Word) - print it off and stick it up!!!

Andy Popplestone issues a weekly email giving updates about the Club - if you want to get in touch, get added to his distribution list, just click here and this will take you to his email address.

ALSO - if you have come along to the Club and you have any comments (good or bad!), please feel free to contact Andy.  He also appreciates any feedback on the guests we have, so if you want to write a piece on who we had at the Club the week before, please drop Andy an Email.

Thanks - and we look forward to seeing you at the Heugh sometime soon!

--  ABOUT STONEHAVEN --

Stonehaven is a very attractive coastal town in the North East of Scotland, about 15 miles south of Aberdeen.  Easily accessible from north and south by road and rail, Stonehaven is on the main rail route to Aberdeen.  It is reached from the south by the A90 and the A94 and from the north by the A90.

The picturesque town of Stonehaven offers many tourist attractions, such as
Dunnottar Castle, birthplace of RW Thomson (inventor of the pneumatic tyre in 1845) and its close connection to the Lewis Grassic Gibbon Centre Arbuthnott.

Stonehaven's Art Deco (heated)
Open Air Swimming Pool is the last of its kind in Scotland.  Built over 60 years ago and the training ground for many famous international swimmers, it attracted as many as 65,000 people in the early 70's.  Updating and refurbishment has been carried out over the past few years, ensuring the future of the 50 metre pool which means so much to locals and visitors alike and the North-East as a whole.

There are many hotels and B&Bs in the town, as well as a wide range of shops, pubs and leisure facilities.
