FOLK IN CRISIS FUND

Stonehaven Folk Club recognised the catastrophic impact that Covid-19 is having on Scottish Folk Artists and their crew’s incomes.  To help address this impact, the Club teamed up with Hands Up for Trad to launch the Folk in Crisis Fund (with an inaugural Donation of £5000) to help support Folk musicians and music production staff living in Scotland during the crisis.

To date, the Fund has provided 40 grants of £250 to help towards living expenses during this period when affected individuals are unable to work.  This was made possible by the generous donations from numerous individuals and from other Folk Clubs (Folk at the Salmon Bothy, Glenfarg Folk Club, Ardersier Folk Club).

To support this project please donate by going to the Fund’s JustGiving page.

Affected individuals wishing to apply for a grant please click here
